On December 9th, Professor Neil Towers visited the ABM Hub at STIE Malangkucecwara. The hub is one of seven new Growth Hubs that were recently established to promote university-business collaboration, graduate entrepreneurship and enterprise creation as part of the GITA project.

The ABM Hub is supporting a growing number of student entrepreneurs, many of who have showcased their business ideas and product ranges at the Consortium meeting that took place in Malang in April.

Apart from delivering workshops to STIE’s senior management team on the embedding of the Triangular Approach into university structures and curricula, Professor Towers delivered a workshop session to aspiring entrepreneurs. The session was hosted by Dr Dwinita Aryani, Head of the International Office, who holds a PhD from the University of Gloucestershire.

“The opening of the Growth Hub is great! We wish it had existed whilst we were still students. Many of our friends are aspiring entrepreneurs and would have benefited so much from a facility like this one”
